There is not a huge amount to say about the trip back
to Bozeman. This was a psychologically important day because it marked
the point in our holiday where we are now travelling south again having
travelled north since landing in Salt Lake City. So it marks the halfway
point - although it is slight more than half way in days. We travelled through beautiful countryside having decided to ignore the sat nav and head east to Shelby and down to Bozeman via Great Falls. Throughout the journey we crisscrossed the Missouri river and I have to admit that the scenery around the river would put most places to shame. We travelled in the Li River in China last year which was stunning but the Missouri could give it a run for its money! We stopped the RV by the river for lunch at a great spot a few mile north of Craig Montana before completing the 5 hour journey to Bozeman where (after traipsing around Walmart and a quick peek into Costco - although it was only open for members!) we found a busy but well equipped RV site tat we'd booked with KOA where the swimming pool was so warm it was like a bath! |
